This webinar will provide home visitors with information on characteristics of abusive partners and how to engage with them respectfully to promote behavior change and hold them accountable for their actions.  Tactics of coercive control that perpetrators often use that cause harm to their children and partners will be identified and explored. The value of survivor centered, culturally responsive, trauma informed and strength based practices  will be addressed. Participants will have the opportunity to share concerns related to interacting with perpetrators as well as to practice using the strategies provided.
